The Panasonic KX-TD; The Sophisticated Small System.

The ISDN network is already bringing advantages to many larger companies. Now Panasonic has introduced the Panasonic KX-TD which offers the benefits of ISDN2 to those customers who have smaller system requirements, but need the latest technology at a competitive price.

ISDN - Basic Rate Interface
The Panasonic KX-TD comes configured with one ISDN2 line (2 channels) to connect directly to digital lines. 2 additional channels can be added.

• Cost effective access to the digital network, offering faster and more effective communication
• ISDN2 to the desk - The 2 additional ISDN2 channels can be connected to devices such as video telephones, Group 4 facsimile machines and ISDN2 compatible high-speed modems, to ensure speedy and efficient data transfer. It also enables faster connection to the Internet, which offers its own vast range of information and services
• MSN (Multiple Subscriber Numbering) and DDI (Direct Dialling In). Each KX-TD extension is able to be called ea~ by hsving its own direct dial telephone number
• CLI (Calhng Line Identity). Any proprietary key telephone with LCD can display an incoming caller's telephone number. Requires CLI from the network

Call Forward to External Number
An extension is able to divert its calls to an outside telephone number for example home, mobile or another office.

Call Deflection
Calls to the Panasonic KX-TD can be deflected to another telephone number, another office or a mobile phone, without busying any channels.

Extra Device Port (XDP)

• Allows greater capacity and flexibility when Key Phones are connected with basic telephones. Maximum eight Single Line
• Telephones and four Key Phones (KXTD2O87OE required)

Parallel Connection
Allows the same extension number to have attached a single line device such as PC, modem, facsimile, cordless, answerphone etc.

Trunk Conferencing
To help speed up decision making and involve third parties in a conversation, a conference may be initiated by one internal extension and include 2 external parties.

Trunk Transfer
The Panasonic KX-TD can transfer external calls received by an extension, back outside the system to another external number. This may be another office, branch or cellular telephone, thus helping to improve efficiency and overall customer service.

Automatic Route Selection/Least Cost Routing
With the Automatic Route Selection (ARS) feature the system can choose the most cost effective network from the outgoing number dialled. Up to 5 different carriers can be ccnnected to the Panasonic KX-TD.
